Mets hosted their 11th annual Autism Awareness Day on Saturday at Citi Field. The team held a pregame party for families with autistic children near the bullpens, where children were encouraged to participate in arts and crafts and other physical activities. The Star-Spangled Banner was sung by Talina, a young recording artist who is on the autistic spectrum, and the first pitch was thrown out by a child who is also on the spectrum. Citi Field was made more autistic friendly by lowering the PA sound in the stadium within certain sections. Photos: http://atmlb.com/163KsQs
